SHERMAN OAKS, Calif., June 6, 2012 – Mike’s Roofing & Building was recently awarded the 2012 Small Business Award by the United Chambers of Commerce (UCC) of the San Fernando Valley. The organization was honored for its contributions within the community as well as for its support and contributions within their local chamber.
Councilmembers Dennis P. Zine, Mitchell Englander, and Richard Alarƈon were there to congratulate the award recipients. Roberto Barragan, President/CEO of the Valley Economic Development Center, was the guest speaker and former Assemblyman Richard Katz was the Master of Ceremonies.
